Meet Chef Traiel — The Flavor Behind RUBBY RUB™

Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Tracy Bell, aka Chef Traiel, turned his passion for cooking into a purpose. Inspired by his late father, WT, and his mother, Nanna, cooking became his calling and the kitchen became his path to a new life.

After graduating from Le Cordon Bleu in 2000 and building his career in professional kitchens, Tracy opened Da Rib Shack around 2007 and established RUBBY RUB in 2012, bringing bold, Louisiana-inspired Creole and Cajun flavors to Portland and beyond.

Driven by a vision to deliver big flavor without relying on excessive salt, Chef Traiel created RUBBY RUB Full-Flavored Seasoning for people who believe great food should never compromise on taste.

This is more than seasoning. It’s family, perseverance, and flavor with a purpose.
